2006 World Series of Poker Top Moments from Bluff Poker RadioWith just over half of the WSOP events completed, BLUFF MEDIA, publisher of Bluff Magazine and producer of Bluff Poker Radio, announced today its top broadcast moments thus far from the WSOP.

At the top of the list was the star-studded final table of the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event. New to the WSOP this year, the event attracted 143 of poker's best players to compete for the unofficial title of "world's best all-around poker player". Poker legend Chip Reese won the title along with the $1.7 million top prize after besting the likes of Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, TJ Cloutier, and runner-up Andy Bloch.

"The first half of the WSOP has been pretty amazing," said Howard David, Play by Play commentator for the "live" WSOP broadcast. "The pinnacle had to be the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. final table. With a standing room only crowd, 9 of the greatest poker players in the world sat down at what may well be the greatest final table in WSOP history. The atmosphere was electrifying."

Other top moments include: Phil Hellmuth playing heads-up for his record- tying tenth WSOP bracelet in the $5,000 NL Hold'em event, William Chen winning his second bracelet of the series in the second $2,500 NL Hold'em Short-Handed event, reigning main event champion Joe Hachem playing heads-up versus eventual winner Dutch Boyd in first $2,500 NL Hold'em Short-Handed event, and Max "The Italian Pirate" Pescatori winning his first bracelet ever on the same day his native Italy won the World Cup.

Bluff Poker Radio is providing 12 hours of live broadcast coverage each day from the WSOP straight from the floor of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Tournament updates, player interviews and live play-by-play action from the final tables are just part of the broadcast that can be heard on Sirius Satellite Channel 125.

"You might not think it possible, but Bluff is covering poker on the radio with the same excitement, color and intensity common to basketball, football and hockey coverage," said Jeffrey Pollack, commissioner of the World Series of Poker. "We are thrilled to have Bluff on-site. Whether you are a casual or big-time poker fan, the top-notch radio coverage Bluff provides is second to none."
